Arrgghh!

I have a complaint. I know why companies put access codes on their software. I understand. I do.

BUT.

If your software is going to have an access code, the very least you should do is have an emergency tech support system in place to obtain the unlock code when your office is closed. Because, gee, well, some of us don't work 9-5, M-F, and in the busy season when your software is a CRITICAL piece of the job… I NEED THAT FUCKING CODE. NOW.

I don't even want to know why the stupid program decided after I've had it unlocked and have been using it for almost a year that today was the day that I was not authorized after all. I don't care. I just want it to work.

STUPID TECHNOLOGY.

I did get a hold of a real live person from a blurb on the company website, but he didn't know if he'd be able to find someone to take care of this until Monday. I tried to impress upon this person that the nature of my business and the nature of their software meant this was something I really needed as soon as possible. I won't hold my breath. You'd think for the amount of money this software costs it would have better support than this, seriously.

I'll just be over here in the corner banging my head against the wall.
