Nothin’ Worth Mentioning

I think I have the flu. Or some relative of the flu. Spent last night (all night) sippin' 7-up and trying to convince myself I was not going to throw up. You know how you sometimes just get that feeling that you know if you could throw up you'd feel better? But then, really, who wants to throw up.

Yeah. Aren't you glad you came by today? Let's hope tomorrow is better, 'kay?

  1. I hate throwing up, too, but finally after all these years, realize you’ve got to get it out. Here in the K.C. area it has been deadly for people and a friend’s husband being transported in an ambulance had to go way out of town because local hospitals weren’t taking any more patients. That was three weeks ago, but Purell goes with me everywhere and I use handi-wipes on grocery carts. Most of our stores have them right up front to use, thank goodness.

Having that neck surgery and all that has gone with it I’m sure it’s hard to figure out which pains go with which symptoms. So sorry you have to deal with this, too. Best of luck and get well faster!

  2. I know that feeling. It’s awful! It’s like, throw up already! Wait, I don’t want to throw up! But I feel so bad!

    Quite the internal battle.

    Feel better soon. XO

  3. Me too, but I think I have the flu’s older, uglier cousin who lives on the wrong side of the tracks. Bah, hope we BOTH feel better soon!

  4. Everyone I know (self included) has been sick the past couple of weeks. Nasty bugs going around for sure – hope you feel better soon!
